Experienced Warehouse Operative
We are seeking a responsible and experienced Warehouse Operative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in warehouse operations and be capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Forklift training and certification will be provided for the successful candidate. However, having a forklift certification will be considered a differentiating factor for applicants. In this role, you will handle a variety of warehouse tasks, including stock management, order picking, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Receiving and Handling Stock: Load and unload goods, ensuring they are correctly checked and processed. Build pallets to agreed specifications and wrap pallets securely.

Stock Management: Assign stock to appropriate locations within the warehouse and put stock away in racked locations using order pickers.

Order Picking & Dispatch: Accurately pick and prepare orders for dispatch, including case picking, pallet picking, wrapping, and shipping pallets.

Documentation and Accuracy: Keep paperwork up to date, verify stock levels, and check for damaged or missing items.

Safety and Hazard Management: Maintain accuracy throughout all processes and quickly address any potential hazards in the warehouse.

Warehouse Maintenance: Help operate and maintain a clean and secure warehouse, ensuring safety standards are upheld at all times.

Teamwork: Work effectively within a team, ensuring the efficient operation of the warehouse.
Requirements:

Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred.

Forklift Training: Training will be provided for forklift certification; however, having a valid forklift certification will be considered a differentiating factor.

Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain accuracy and ensure all tasks are performed to the highest standards.

Physical Fitness: Capable of lifting heavy items and performing manual labour tasks as required.

Health & Safety Awareness: Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols, with a focus on creating a safe working environment.

Team Player: Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
